The goal of Misfitness is to create space and personal training for bodies that are queer, trans, POC, differently abled, and low-income. This is a fitness program for humans who might not have felt welcomed into a traditional gym setting in the past. You will not find heteronormativity, toxic masculinity, or diet culture here.
This is a space for revolution.
I am a queer Brooklynite, pronouns are she/her.
I have been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 5 years and counting.
I cut my teeth at a small studio called Hard Boiled Holistics under the tutelage of Riki Bryan. I honed my kettlebell skills there with Riki and Steve Maxwell, a renowned trainer who has worked with the likes of the Philadelphia Eagles and even U.S. special ops agents.
After HB I moved on to Session, a community-oriented studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. There I learned the importance of a tribe, and the joy of working out with friends.
In addition to that, I've also trained a bit under Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champ Dominyka Obelenyte.
Currently I am a student at the T2T Wrestling Academy.
I've been certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and am currently working on acquiring a Nutrition Coach certificate as well. I an also pursuing Pilates certification in Mat and Pre+Postnatal at
